“Las navegantes yagan”, by Macarena Libuy H., is a book that explores the history and knowledge of Yagán women and their close relationship with the land and sea. Starting from a research that brings together stories, photographs, and historical records, the publication highlights their role as navigators, gatherers, and transmitters of knowledge. A sensitive, documentary-inspired approach brings this archive together, highlighting memory, identity, and the enduring connections with the southern territory. For this book, we created the cover and chapter-opening illustrations, adding a visual dimension that accompanies and contextualizes the narrative.
